在信息技术高速发展时代,我国医学图书馆界必须有冷静的观念:Internet虽好,但各大权威数据库照常收费;无纸世界是美妙的理想,但在相当长时期内仍将是电子版和印刷版文献并存发展;馆际互借必须发展,老校大馆必须先尽义务,才能享受权益。稳定的图书馆基础工作必须坚持。重点学科建设中投资图书馆建设仍是重要支柱之一;图书馆必须自强不息,增强危机感。
In the era of rapidly developing information technology, China medical library community must be alert in idea. Internet is excellent, but authoritative databases whereon still charge without discount, free delivery of full text service from substantial journals is rarely available. Although paperless world is fascinating because of economic, technical, and habitual reasons, electronic and printed publications will coexist for a considerably long period of time. Interlibrary loan must be strengthened. Libraries of larger institutions should contribute more and then benefit.Steadying our basic services without relaxation has to be an unchangeable idea. The investiment for the development of librarianship is a crucial supporter for the construction of universities with higher quality. Librarians must feel pressing and competitive in offering more satisfactory performance.
