U.S.-China Collaboration in Mathematical Research

为了加强中美青年科学家在数学领域交流，营造有利于中国科研人员参与国际（地区）合作与竞争的良好环境，鼓励基金承担者开展积极而富有成效的国际合作与交流。中国国家自然科学基金委员会和美国基金会签署合作协议，共同支持中美数学研究人员。

Dear Colleague： The Division of Mathematical Sciences （DMS） of the Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences （MPS） at the National Science Foundation （NSF） has a long history of sup- porting basic research in mathematical and statistical sciences. This letter is to inform the community of U.S. scientists that DMS has entered into an agreement with the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences （DMPS） of the National Natural Science Foundation of China （NSFC） in supporting joint projects between U.S.-based mathematicians/statisticians and China-based mathematicians in all research areas of mathematical and statistical sciences.
