Ventilation and prevention of gas, coal dust and fire are the important bases of safe and efficient production of coal mines and the component parts of safety management. In view of the traditional manual management mode which is not adapted to the modem management of ventilation and safety, the information management platform is built with the client/server structure based on local area network, Oracle 8.0 and PowerBuilder 8.0. The system not only can integrate professional works and share information resources but also can provide the technical support for coal mine safety management. It has perfect functions, which is more reliable and practical, and is significant to improve the efficiency and level of the management.
