Aims and scope （Editorial Policy）The Journal of Mountain Science （JMS） is devoted to mountains and their surrounding lowlands - ecoregions of particular global importance, with a particular emphasis on the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent high mountains, the Himalayas.
