This article proposes an effective Cache usage scheme in order to resolve the problems of slow operating system initialization process and inefficient application software execution in the VxWorks environment. To reduce the operation system＇ s initialization time, the proposed scheme utilizes configuration file modifications to open the code and data Cache efficiently at the starting process. To improve the execution efficiency of the application softwares, the proposed scheme utilizes various Cache programming strategies at the software development stage. This article also presents implementation methodologies in real application scenarios through case studies.
