道教承负说浅析

承负说即道教因果报应论,它主张善恶祸福前承后负,以行为者本人及其子孙为承报主体而代代相报,承报范围涉及社会人事及自然的方方面面。承负说源自春秋以来的传统报应观,以天道循环说为哲学基础,并有自己的解脱之道。时至今日,承负说仍具有警示作用。

The Doctrine of Cheng Fu, that is theoretical proposition about retribution of Taoism, advocates that goodness and evil is mutually succeeded as well as woe and weal. Its subject mainly refers to a person and his descendants. This Doctrine can be applied to human society and natural world. It originates from the traditional theory about retribution, whose philosophical basis is the theoretical propositions about the encircling law of the world. Moreover, it points out the way on how to release from the worldly cares. To date, the Doctrine of Cheng Fu still exerts its admonishing effect.
