邓小平“两个大局”理论是对改革开放前我国区域经济发展的经验总结,改革开放以后,这一理论成为促进我国区域经济协调发展的理论指南。新世纪,在科学发展观的指导下,我们已经实施了西部大开发战略和振兴东北老工业基地战略,近来又提出了中部崛起战略,这些都是“两个大局”理论全面实践的重要体现。

Deng Xiaoping＇s theory of ＂ two overall situations＂ is the summary of experience of regional economic development of China before reform and opening - up, and it has become the theoretical guide to the coordinated development of regional economy since reform and opeving -up. In the new century, the strategy of greatly developing western regions and the strategy of rejuvenating the old industrial bases in the northeast ,which we are carrying out now in the view of scientific development, are all - round practical embodiments of the theory ＂ two overall situations＂.
