Practical Significance of the Thoughts about Journalism and Publication by Zou Taofen

邹韬奋在丰富的办报实践中形成的新闻出版思想,一是报刊要以读者利益为中心,以社会的改进为目的,要站在时代的前列,发挥其独特的指导作用;二是刊物要在遵循新闻事业的自身规律的前提下,办出特色,办出个性;三是刊物要把提高人民大众的文化水平作为报刊的基本任务之一,文风力求大众化;四是新闻从业人员要有独立的人格,要具有“视事业如生命”的精神和读者至上的服务精神;五是新闻媒体应严格把好广告关,无论是广告的数量还是广告的质量,都必须以为受众负责为基本准则,决不能以牺牲受众利益为代价,甚至做出有辱报格、国格的广告。这些对当今我国新闻出版事业的实践仍具有重要的借鉴作用与指导意义。
