透过文化模式看英语表达

An Observation of Communications in English Through Cultural Framework

本文通过Hall和Hofstede的文化模式对中国学生在使用英语进行表达时的一些常见问题和不规范用法进行了分析和总结。笔者认为,中国学生之所以不能准确和地道地用英语表达自己的想法,很多时候是因为他们根深蒂固的汉语思维模式仍在潜移默化的发生作用,因此利用文化模式对表达中的常见问题进行分析可以强化中国学生的英汉文化差异和英汉思维模式差异的意识。

This paper tries to analyze the common mistakes and unsuitable expressions in English communications among Chinese students by using Hall and Hofstede＂ s cultural frame work. The author holds that the born Chinese thinking style has so greatly influenced the Chinese students that they can not express themselves clearly in English, therefore it is necessary to strengthen Chinese students＂ awareness of the differences between the Chinese culture and English Culture.
