Applying Factor Analysis to Evaluate the EconomicComprehensive Strength of Each City in Shanxi Province

运用因子分析方法,对山西省各城市的经济实力进行综合评价。得出结论:太原不仅综合经济实力强,而且经济发展的潜力也明显高于其他城市。大同和运城的整体经济水平较高,但其经济发展潜力相对较低,各城市间不同程度存在着经济发展不均衡的特点。

This paper comprehensively evaluates the economic strength of each city of Shanxi Province applying factor analysis methods. The result shows that Taiyuan city is with strong combined economic strength and the economic developing potentialities are higher than other cities. Datong and Yuncheng are with higher complete economic level but lower developing potentialities. The economic： developing unbalanced features are existed between every cities.
