Scientific and technological advancement is a strong driving force for the development of petroleum industry. During the Tenth Five Year Plan Period, Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau had brought scientific and technological advancement into full play in driving the development of the enterprise, implemented the strategy to bring CNPC into a transnational enterprise group with strong international competency, standardized scientific and technological management, increased investment in scientific and technological research, and enhanced the capability of scientific and technological innovation, All these measures had provided a very strong technical support to the sustainable, effective, rapid and harmonious development of Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau.
