操新疆汉语方言的群体是古今中原汉族移民及其后代;新疆汉语方言的词汇、地名、庙宇名称、店铺字号以及民间口头文学中都反映出中原文化的深厚积淀及其辐射地域的辽阔和传播范围的广泛,它的根基是中原文化。

Speakers of the Han dialects in Xinjiang are descendants of migrating people from inland provinces of China. A lot of words, place names, names of temples, names of stores and oral folk literatures in the Han dialects in Xinjiang all reveal the thick accumulation of inland cultures, wide areas of dissemination and wide scale of spatial dissemination.
