Voices Uttered by the Daughter of a Chinese American:An Analysis of Maxine Hong Kingston's Autobiographical Novel The Woman Warrior

从三个方面分析汤亭亭的小说《女勇士》中发自华裔女孩的三个声音,它们共同汇合成20世纪第二代美国华裔女性的成长历程、人生愿望的倾诉。这三方面包括:对女勇士原型的改写,华人女孩对父权社会传统的反驳与挑战,以及华裔女性向世界发出反种族歧视和其美国华裔身份认同的心声。

This paper analyzes the three voices uttered by the Chinese American girl in The Woman Warrior written by Maxine Hong Kingston from three aspects：the rewriting of archetype of woman warrior,the girl＇s disapproval and challenge against patriarchal tradition, and her global voice of anti-racism and Chinese American identity. These three voices combined tells us about the growth and life desires of the second generation of Chinese American females in the 20th century.
