近年来，我国一些中心城市为了改善投资环境，克服区位交通上的某些劣势而相继修建了大型机场，与此同时，在机场附近地区借航空运输的优越条件，计划辟建功能与规模不一的航空城，它作为一种新事物，对其功能内涵及规划特征应有别于城市中的一般功能区．本文就一些共性问题进行探讨．
