Chinese - Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company (CHIPOLBROK), founded by the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Poland in June 15th.1951 is the first Sino-Foreign joint venture established in China. Over its history till present time, Chipolbrok has developed its business and has grown into a reliable shipping company, enjoying a high reputation worldwide. The Company registered in China has its Head Office in Shanghai, China and equivalent Branch Office in Gdynia, Poland. Today Chipolbrok is the owner of 20 modern multipurpose triple-decker vessels ideal for carriage of investment goods including heavy lifts, general cargo, bulk cargo and containers. The fleet has overall capacity over 425,000 DWT and container capacity over 15,200 TEU. Besides carrying cargo of conventional type like bulk, general and containerized, CHIPOLBROK is specialized in ocean transportation of "project" type cargo like steel mills, power stations, including oversized and heavy pieces. Professional services provided by the company were rewarded with widespead acknowledgement and guaranteed fame on the worldwide market of ocean tranportation. CHIPOLBROK cooperates and provides services for well known industrial groups and commercial houses like: Siemens, ABB, Thyssen Krup, Chrysler, Volvo, Duferco,Liebherr, Bompardier, Basf, bayer, Stemcor and also for first class forwarders like: Kuehne und Nagel, schenker, Rochde und Liesenfeld, Dacotrans, Dengro, Panalpina, Sinotrans, Minmetals. At present the company’s vessels are engaged in transportation of steel mill from Germany to China (Shagang project) and power station from Czech to China (Shentou project).
