The Story of the Stone,则可以察觉,其中有许多挥之不去的后殖民主义的情愫。
Hawks'translation of The Story of The Stone is regarded as classical translation with its unparalleled literacy and artistic quality. However, countless postcolonialist nostalgia can be revealed by intensive illustration on this translation version. This paper is intended to expose this postcolonialist nostalgia through the transplantation from Naiad to Xiaoxiang Imperial Concubine.
