By the investigation and social culture analysis on the construction ritual of traditional “Yi Ke Yin” vernacular dwellings of south Yunnan Province. this paper reveals the vital significance of construction ritual studies for the Chinese traditional construction culture research. and takes advantage of this with the attempt to propose a research access of Chinese traditional buildings.
