摘要
以矢量量化技术在图像压缩领域的应用作为研究目标,详细阐述了矢量量化码书生成技术,总结分析了现有典型的LBG算法,并针对LBG算法的不足,提出了改进的覆盖聚类算法,减少了计算复杂度,缩短了程序运行时间。通过理论推导和具体实现,证明了改进方法的可行性和有效性。
The image compression is dealt with based on the vector quantification. Its technique of the codebook generation is expounded. The present typical LBG algorithm is summarized and analyzed. In addition an improved covering clustering algorithm reducing the complexity and runtime of the application is proposed according to the limits of the LBG algorithm. The theory and result prove its feasibility and efficiency of the algorithm.
