In Middle East, Arabs and Persians were the two major nations constantly in frictions in the 20^th century, and the conflicts in ideology are the main reason which has brought about these frictions. The origins and representations of these ideological conflicts lie in the differences among religious groups, the confrontations between Arab nationalism and Iranian nationalism, and the struggles between Pan -Arabism and Pan -Islamism.
