Optimization of MPEG4 Encoder Based on TriMedia Processor

摘要 介绍在Pilips的TriMedia平台Nexperia系列多媒体处理芯片上实现MPEG-4编码的优化策略,针对编译器的优化特点和芯片的硬件结构特点,采用多种优化方式综合考虑,实现了在TriMedia平台多媒体处理芯片上进行代码优化的通用模式,适用于TriMedia平台上各种音视频压缩编码开发。设计的MPEG-4编码模块已经在开发的基于Nexperia系列PNX1500的嵌入式网络摄像机中使用。实际表明文章的优化方法是可行的,在768K带宽条件下,D1(720×480)的编码效率可以达到实时效果(25帧/s)。 This paper introduces a optimization method used on TfiMedia Processor,presents some optimization techniques can be used together to efficient the C code on TriMedia processor.This MPEG-4 Encoder developed on PNX1500 already has been used in web camera,which can encode the D1 Frame (720×480) up to 25 frame/s at the reahime mode.
