摘要
随着芯片处理能力的迅速提高,交换机内部由报文转发机制所造成的瓶颈亟需解决。介绍了在华为新型(S6500系列)交换机上实现报文三层转发的分布式处理系统的原理,详述了分布式交换机对整机三层转发表的维护机制及ARP的分布式处理和表项同步机制。
With rapid enhancement of chip processing capacity, it is urgent to solve the bottleneck caused by message forwarding mechanism in exchange. This paper describes the implementation principle of a distributed system built on Huawei＇s S6500 series exchange, which can offer 3rd tier message forwarding, and explains maintenance mechanism of 3rd tier FIB table in distributed exchange as well as distributed processing and table item synchronization mechanism of ARP.
