The Zinc-cobalt electrolyte is based on an acid chloride formulation that is similar to the widely accepted potassium chloride zinc plating. The alloy of 0.4%～1.0%cobalt only causes the cost increase by 20%～50%,but the corrosion resistance increases more than 100 times compared to zinc coating[2].
