摘要
徐特立是新中国教育事业的奠基人。他在主持中央苏区教育部的工作时，为革命办教育，用革命的方法办教育，率先垂范普及义务教育，大力扫除文盲，创办师范教育，编写新教材，制定教育法规等，取得了光辉的业绩。
XU Te-li is the founder of new China＇s education cause. When he was in charge of education at the Ministry of the Central Soviet Area, he had achieved a lot in the following aspects： making education for revolution with revolution approaches, setting an example to make compulsory education universal, eliminating illiteracy, founding normal education, compiling books and making education regulations, etc.
