Opportunities and Challenges that Internet Brings to Political Socialization

目前蓬勃发展的互联网络具有跨地域性、即时性、无限扩张性等特点,对政治社会化而言,将有助于政治知识的加速传播、培养主体政治理性、形成新的政治文化,也会导致国家对个体政治思想和行为影响的弱化,以及个体政治实践理想化,而政府可以在建设电子政府、维护网络秩序等方面进行积极的回应。

Talking of political socialization, the booming internet, with its multiregional, prompt and outstretched features, will accelerate the transmission of knowledge of politics, cultivate the personal sense of politics, and form a new culture of politics; also, it will weaken the influence that the government exerts on the individual thoughts and behavior of politics, and result in the idealization of individual political practice. Meanwhile, the government can take measures like e-government construction and web order maintenance as its positive responses.
