第43届世界乒乓球锦标赛，中国选手邓亚萍、乔红等在面临欧亚外国选手及“海外兵团”有力挑战后，连闯数关，包揽世乒赛女子单打前三名，说明中国女队的技战术水平在世界乒坛仍占有较大优势，心理素质也日趋成熟，但中国女队也存在后备力量不理想，年轻选手心理素质不够稳定，技术风格不够凶狠等问题，需引起我们思想上足够的重视。

During the 43rd World Table Tennis Championship the Chinese players, Deng Yaping, QiaoHong and their companions took on everything of the first three places of the women's singles after theyswamped the challenges from the European and Asian players and the 'Overseas Troupe'. It showed thatthe Chinese women team still had its superiority on teachnique and tactics in the Championship,and theirmental qualities were improved day by day. But there were still problems in the Chinese Women TableTennis Team. For example,their reserves were not good enough,the mental qualities of the younger players were unstable and their technical style was not violent,to which we must pay enough attention.
