BPR and Contemporary Academic Library Management

从BPR的概念及涵义入手,分析了当代高校图书馆具有文献资源结构的多元化,服务模式和手段的多样性,服务内容多层次化的时代特性;阐述了实现业务流程重组必须具备开放的、以人为本的、个性化服务的管理理念和集成化管理思想;提出了实施重组必须以服务功能为主线,以机构重组为契机,以人才重组为关键的三个战略要点。

Starting with the concept and implication of the BPR, this paper has analyzed the characteristics of contemporary academic library, i.e. the diverse structure of bibliographic resources, the multiform modes and methods of service, multiple contents of information service; explicated that library must have open, person-oriented and personalized service management ideas and integrated management thoughts for the realization of BPR; and proposes three strategic emphases to finish the BPR： taking the service fimction as masterstroke, organization reconstruct as opportunity, and redistribution of personnel as sticking point.
