bauma China 2006 confirmed its leading position as the most important platform for the construction industry in Asia.The third International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery,Building Material Machines,Construction Ve- hicles and Equipment took place from 21 to 24 November 2006 in Shanghai and considerably surpassed the last edi- tion in 2004,in size and in numbers of exhibitors and visitors. bauma China 2006 attracted more than 80,000 visitors from all over the world which is around 60 percent more than two years ago.It also attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors from 30 countries including 505 Chinese native enterprises, 227 joint venture companies and 356 foreign enterprises. The exhibition space increased 50 percent and arrived 150, 000 square meters. In addition,it had eight national exhibitors which respec- tively came from Finland,France,Germany,Italy,Korea, Spain,England and America.
