摘要
吉比特无源光网络(GPON)是最新的接入网络技术,具有高效率、高速率、低成本、支持全业务等优点,被业界认为是实现“光纤到家”的最佳技术之一。GPON在APON的基础上,引入GEM封装模式,从而使其既可以有效地传输ATM业务,又可以透明高效地封装IP业务。文章分析了GPON的结构、成帧、测距、动态带宽分配等关键技术,并在此基础上重点对GPON的链路效率进行了理论分析。通过仿真结果证实,在当今网络中短的IP分组占绝对优势的情况下,利用GPON作为接入网承载体,可以在很大程度上提高链路利用率。
As the latest access network technology, the GPON has the advantages of high efficiency, high-speed rate, low cost and supporting all service. By introducing GEM encapsulation mode on the basis of APON, GPON can effectively transmit not only ATM service hut also IP service. This paper introduces some key technologies about GPON, such as configuration, frame, ranging and DBA etc, and analyzes the circuit efficiency based on them. By consulting the simulation results, it points out that the circuit utilization can be increased greatly by using GPON access network technology.
