The Discussion of Mass Organizations of Sport in China

摘要 体育社团是以体育为共同特征的人相聚而成的互益组织。它具有民间性、非盈利性、互益性和同类相聚性等基本性质。具有代表群体参与政治活动、协助政府体育部门完成某些政府职能、成员发展、维护成员的群体权益和个别权益等功能。体育社团可分成竞技运动、社会体育、体育科学技术、体育观众、体育娱乐享受等类别。在计划经济条件下,我国的体育社团处于萎缩的状态,当前体育社团得到了较大的发展,但体育社团的社会基础十分薄弱,还具有鲜明的官民二重性。体育社团是适应市场经济的一种组织形态,未来的世纪中,体育社团将会从官民二重结构中逐步走出,展示它特有的社会功能和价值。 A sports organization is founded by people of common traits with an aim to promote sports and is reciprocally beneficial to the people. Its fundamental natures are popularity, non profitablity, mutual benefit and cohesion of the like. On behalf of the people, it can take part in political activities, help governmental sports departments fulfill their mission, recruit new members and protect the rights and interests of the individual or the masses. Sports organizations structured as competitive sports, social sports, sports scientific technology, sports audiences and physical entertainment ones. Under the condition of planned economy, sports organization in China was once on the decline. Now it gains more development, but its social foundation is weak because of its dual character as the agent of government and people.Anyway it suits the need of market economy. In the time to come, it will give up its dual character and display its special social function ard value.
