直拍快攻打法，应包括直拍正胶快攻和直拍反胶快攻，其威力取决于快速进攻的发挥程度。以刘国梁为代表的一批直拍快攻选手，试验了用球拍背面击球的打法，它虽然可以起到加强反手进攻能力的作用，但必须明确在左半台仍应以侧身攻为主。
