史志目录的编纂方法及其面临的困惑——以《清人著述总目》为例

The Compiling Methods of Catalogues of Descriptive Account of Books in Dynastic Histories and the Confusion It Faces——take the catalogue of all the books written by people in Qing Dynasty as an example

文章以《清人著述总目》为例,总结了中国史志目录的传统编法,即利用已有书目,摘取清人著述,分类编纂。指出困难在于难以齐全,难以避免有名无实的书滥入,难以避免以讹传讹。这三个困难一时难以克服,为史志目录带来一定的不利影响,希望引起目录学界的重视。

Traditional compiling methods of the catalogues of descriptive accounts of books in dynastic histories. That is to make use of the existing catalogues and quote the parts of the books written by people in Qing Dynasty to compile in classifications. The difficulties are： It＇s hard to collect all and to avoid the books with only names but no content and to avoid incorrectly relaying an erroneous message. This article thinks it is difficult to overcome those three difficulties for a short time and it could be take some disadvantages to the catalogue of descriptive accounts of books in dynastic histories. And this should be paid more attention in the bibliography circle.
