The Bible is a classic influencing the Western world greatly. Reading and appreciation of The Bible are critical means for foreign language workers and learners to understand the western society, politics, laws, customs and languages, etc. Begun with multi-dimensional literature criticism, The Bible has been discussed from the aspects of God, history, literature and feminism. At the end, this paper points out that the Biblical reading and appreciation should be open and diverse.
