摘要
报道了以无水FeCl3为催化剂合成烷基、烷氧基取代聚噻吩的实验过程,两种聚合物稀溶液和薄膜的光发射、光吸收性能和用这两种材料作发光层制作的发光二极管的光电性能的初步研究结果。两种聚合物均具有较高的纯度和分子量。两种材料均显示了较好的发光性能,其电致发光颜色均为红橙色。烷氧基取代聚噻吩均聚物电致发光性能的研究对聚噻吩类材料的应用开发具有实际意义。
Alkyl and alkoxyl-substituted polythiophene derivatives were synthesized in high yields from polymerization using iron (Ⅲ) chloride as a catalyst. The polymers exhibit excellent solubility in common organic solvents such as chloroform, dichloromethane, benzene, toluene, THF, etc. The absorption spectra and photoluminescent spectra of the two polymers and the electroluminescent properties of the corresponding two light emitting diodes, ITO/poly(3-isopentylthiophene)/Al and ITO/poly (3-pentoxythiophene)/Al, have been studied. The diodes show typical rectifying characteristics, and emit red-orange lights at room temperature. The energy gaps of the two polymers, Eg(Pat5) and Eg(Paot5), are 2.2 eV and 2.1 eV, respectively.
