From the perspective of cognition, this paper discusses and analyzes the cognitive basis, training and significance of second language learning strategy featuring combination of reading and writing, and improving writing through reading, elaborates that the collaboortion between reading and writing constitutes the input and output process of information processing. The organic combination of the two will improve learners＇ collaborative ability from many aspects.
