摘要
《莱尼和他们》通过一个女性莱尼及围绕着她的众多男女的生活,反映了德国20世纪30年代直至70年代希特勒崛起和第二次世界大战期间德国普通民众的生活,以及战后的经济重建。作者另一更为重要的目的还在于表达自己对生命存在模式的思索,对理想生命状态的追求。这一思索与追求主要是通过主人公莱尼生命存在状态的描写来表达的。
The novel Group Portrait with Lady takes the life of Leni and the people around her as the material, reflecting the common German life during the period from the rise of Hitler in the Second World War to the postwar economical reconstruction between 1930＇a and 1970＇s. And another more important goal of the author is to express his concerns to the life existing patterns and his pursuit of ideal life conditions, which is achieved through his portraying Leni＇s life condi- tions.
