外语学习动机表现为渴求外语学习的强烈愿望和求知欲。在艺术类学校,搞好英语教学是提高艺术职业教育质量的一个重要方面。鉴于艺术学校文化教学的特殊性,其英语教学应该注重以“趣”为中心,在端正学生学习态度的前提下,灵活运用多种方法,激发学生学习动机,充分发挥非智力因素的潜力,促进学生多元智能的发展。

Foreign language study motivation is the strong desire and thirst for knowledge of longing for learning foreign language. In Arts school, making a success of English teaching is an important factor in promoting the quality of artistic professional education. In view of these, the English teaching in Arts schools should base on the interesting, correct students＇ study attitudes firstly and then use diverse methods flexibly, stimulate students＇ motivation, bring the potential of unintelligence factor into full play, promote the students＇ development of MI.
