摘要
介绍了JPEG2000的静态图像压缩技术在TITMS320DM642 DSP上的实现过程;对压缩技术核心小波算法结构进行改进,对硬件特点的程序结构、具体代码及总线读写等方面的改进作了详细描述.改进后的软件系统,对于1024×768像素大小的图像、数据存储空间仅需6KB,使得在资源有限的DSP芯片上能够运行JPEG2000图像压缩技术;编码速度相对于未改进的提高了12~20倍,可迭到3帧/s;压缩比为0.5bit/p时,峰值信噪比可达到30.
Realization of JPEG2000 still image compression standard is introduced based on TI TMS320C6711 DSP. The basic technology of image compression and structure of wavelet algorithm are modified, and the optimization of application structure, C/Assemble language and bus operation is presented in great detail. The test results show that for the image with the pixel size of 1024×768, the system only requires 6 KB data memory so that JPEG2000 image compression technology could be realized with limited hardware resources based on DSP. The encoding speed has been enhanced to 12-20 times and 3 frames/s and PSNR is 30 at 0.5 bit/p.
