By applying the theory of completely mixing and hydrolysis-acidification, combining the regulating-pool and hydrolysis-acidification pool could achieve the objective of saving investment, reducing operation expense and improving the biochemical effect. This method was suitable for the reformation of old sewage treatment plants, also could be used for reference to the newly-built sewage treatment plants.
