脑星形细胞肿瘤中Survivin蛋白的表达及其病理意义

The expression and pathological significance of Survivin in astrocytomas

目的:研究脑星形细胞肿瘤Survivin蛋白表达与其临床、病理和预后的关系。方法:应用免疫组化方法检测65例脑星形细胞肿瘤组织中Survivin蛋白的表达。结果:Survivin仅表达于脑星形细胞肿瘤细胞,而在正常脑组织中无表达。在脑星形细胞肿瘤中Survivin阳性检出率为61.54%(40/65)。Survivin蛋白的表达强度与脑星形细胞肿瘤的病理分级密切相关,在高级别肿瘤中Survivin蛋白的表达强度均高于低级别肿瘤(P<0.05)。结论:随着星形细胞肿瘤分化程度的降低,Survivin蛋白的表达强度均显著增强;Survivin的高表达预示着星形细胞肿瘤患者预后不良,Survivin可成为一个有价值的评估该肿瘤预后的指标。

Objective ：To investigate the relationships between the expression of Survivin gene （ at protein levels） and the clinicopathologic parameters in astrocytomas ,and evaluate its significance in predicting the prognosis.Methods：Immunohistochemical method was used to detect Survivin expression in 65 patients with astrocytomas.Results：The expression of Survivin was only found in tumor cells in astrocytomas and there was no expression in normal brain tissues. The positive rate of immunohistochemistry was 61.54%（40/ 65）.The expression intensity of Survivin detected by immunohistochemistry had a high correlation with pathological grades of astrocytomas. The expression intensity of Survivin in high-grade tumors was higher than that in low-grade tumors （P〈0.05）.Conclusion：The expression intensity of Survivin gene reinforced significantly when the differentiation degree decreased.The high expression of Survivin forestells the bad prognosis of astrocytomas. Survivin can become a valuable evaluation marker for prognosis.
