Subjectivity and Intersubjectivity of Translation Studies

在从哲学角度探讨了主体性与主体间性内涵的基础上,阐述了哈贝马斯的主体间性理论及其对翻译研究的影响,强调翻译研究中个体主体向社会主体的转向,并指出不同文化之间应建立平等对话的主体间性关系,才能真正体现翻译的桥梁与媒介作用。

After sketching the concepts of subjectivity and intersubjectivity from philosophical point of view, the paper focuses on intersubjectivity theory put forward by German contemporary philosopher Habermas and analyzes its inspiration on translation studies. It points out that it is necessary to transfer personal subjectivity to social subjectivity. Only by establishing intersubjectivity relationship can translation make real bridge between different cultures.
