曼斯菲尔德是20世纪初英国文坛上杰出的优秀女作家之一,文笔流畅,语言细腻。富有中国“曼斯菲尔德”之称的凌叔华文风亦清新明畅。两位女作家的代表作《幸福》与《花之寺》都以婚姻为主题,反映了两位作家相似的风格和看待女性问题独特的视角以及对女性的关心。

K. Mansfield is one of the most excellent women writers in the early 20th English literature. She is known for her elegant style and fluent language. Ling Shuhua has a lot in common with her and is thus called ＂ Mansfield＂ in China. They take marriage as the theme in their works which felly reflect similar styles and unique perspectives towards the female problems and their concerns for women.
