Chen Hong-mou and Zhu Zi's Idealist Philosophy

陈宏谋是清代桂林籍的理学名臣。他批判地继承了朱熹的学说,顺应历史潮流,讲求实学,力主经世致用,事功彪炳一代,道德文章为海内景仰。其所作所为,从一个侧面反映了朱子学在广西的传播与影响。

Chen Hong -mou , a Guilin man by origin ,was a famous idealist philosophy official in the Qing Dynesty . He critically inherited Zhuxi＇s theory , conforming to the historical trend of the times , stressing real learning , vigorously advocating practice in administering the world affairs （or through life）, his brilliant achievement gloried in his days , and his morals and writings were held in deep respected within the four seas. What he did reflected the influence of Zhuxi＇s theory in Guangxi from one aspect.
