That the Baise Uprising was staged successfully and that Zuojiang and Youjiang revolutionary base areas were established and developed, have a close link to the ideological and political work done in the light of the existing situation by Deng Xiaoping round about the Baise Uprising. Deng Xiaoping proceeded from the actual situation of Guangxi, gave the fullest play to the advantage of ideological and political work of CPC, which gives expression to the good vitality of the work. He greatly enriched the historical experience of ideology and politics in the establishment period of CPC and the Red Army, and gives us deep enlightenment as well.
