摘要 液晶分子的预倾角测试技术对研究液晶器件电光特性十分重要,现有的晶体旋转法不适合测试20° ̄70°之间的倾角,本文提出一种利用宾主效应原理测试液晶分子电控倾角的实验方法。推导出液晶盒中液晶分子倾角与透射光强的关系式,制备出加二色性染料液晶盒,对样品施加电场,观测液晶盒电光特性。对实验结果进行分析,认为该实验方法对于测试15° ̄75°之间的液晶分子电控倾角具有一定的可行性。 It is very important to measure.the pretilt angle of liquid crystal molecules for study the electro-optic properties of liquid crystal devices. Pretilt angle measurable by using the conventional crystal rotation method is unsuitable to test the pretilt angle from 20° to 70° we propose a method to measure the electrically controlled pretilt angle by using the principle of guest-host effect of liquid crystal in this paper, The relation formula of transmittance and pretilt angle is studied, a dichroic dye doped liquid crystal cell is prepared, and the electro-optic property of the cell is obtained in this paper. The experimental results show a feasibility of this method that it is suitable to test the pretilt angle from 15° to 75°.
