小议“X个X贼”——粤东兴宁客家话中一个有趣的口头语

Discuss " X Ge X Zei " randomly——An interesting pet phrase in Xingning Hakka of east Guangdong

粤东兴宁客家话中活跃着一个有趣的口头语“X个X贼”。仔细研究词性,会发现大部分词属于形容词,但也有少数兼做动词。本文通过它与动词和性质形容词的比较总结出这一类词的语法特点和语法功能,并引出另一使用频率极高的同义形容词“死”,在语用的效果上进行比较,得出“X个X贼”更形象、更生动、更传神的结论。

There is an interesting pet phrase ＂X Ge X Zei＂ which is active in Xingning Hakka of east Guangdong. Studying the class of this word carefully, we find it is often used as adjectives, but in a special circumstance it is used as verbs. This text summarizes the word＇s grammar characteristic and grammar function compared with the verb and the property adjective one. What is more, this article presents another synonymous adjective ＂Si＂ which has extremely high frequency of use. Finally, the text comes to a conclusion that ＂X Ge X Zei＂ is a more vivid, more expressive word than its synonyms by comparing with verb ＂Si＂ in the language.
