On Xu Zhuodai's Achievements in Drama Creation: A Study of Homeland,Sisters and Mother

中国文学的研究者长期以来忽视了对“革命文学作家”以外的作家的研究。现在“重写”中国现代文学史的话语引起了研究者的关注。为此,我们重新发掘并研究在历史中被遗忘的作家和作品。其中徐卓呆在中国文学的现代化进程中付出的心血和贡献是不可磨灭的。笔者认为徐卓呆是成就最高的中国早期剧作家。本文评估了徐卓呆在中国现代戏剧史上的地位和作用。

The literary critics of China long ignored those writers that were considered not ＂revolutionary＂. Now the rewriting of the history of modern Chinese literature has reminded them of this point, and the ignored writers and their works have aroused new interest among those scholars. The author of this paper holds that Xu Zhuodai was the best in the early period of drama creation and made indelible contribution to the development of modern Chinese literature, which finds expression in his position and role in the history of modern Chinese drama.
