摘要
D. H. Lawrence's philosophy finds expression not only in his novels but more directly and accurately in his essays and letters. His philosophy is a resonance of Heraclitus' philosophy, an ancient Greek philosopher who regards the basic nature of the world as an everlasting, moving and burning fire that symbolizes not only the universal law of unity of opposites and the law of development and changes in the universe but also human instinct. Sons and Lovers, an autobiographical novel of D. H. Lawrence, well reveals this philosophy.
