On teaching the course Sketching for Design

设计素描是设计教学中的一门必修课,作为艺术造型基础的素描,它能传达出设计者对自然、生活的独特感受和设计意念,是从事艺术设计活动的起点。针对不同的教学目标,应有不同的教学模式,但都应既有利于启发和拓展学生的设计思维,又有利于培养学生的审美能力和动手能力。在教学实践中,应注意训练学生的认识方法、观察方法及审美意识、表现意识。

Sketching for Design is a compulsive course for students who study design. As the foundation of artistic images, sketches are used to express the unique feelings for nature and life as well as the ideas of designers, and they are the starting point of art designs. In accordance with different teaching objectives, teachers should have different teaching modes which should be instructive not only to inspire students to make designs and expand their thinking but also to develop students＇ esthetic and practical abilities. In the practice of teaching, students should be trained to adopt correct methods of cognition and observation to improve their esthetic expressing consciousness.
