Industrial Cluster Theory and Urban Dominant Industry Model in Chongqing

区域城市主导产业是区域经济发展的主要支柱,是区域产业现代化的航标。针对重庆市资源禀赋、现有产业格局、世界经济形式以及国家赋予重庆的历史重任等,基于产业群理论,厘定了四种重庆主导产业布局的新模式:重心极核、技术置换、生产销售结合和研发结合,这样企业间将会通过既竞争又彼此合作的相互依赖关系,置于一个完善的网络中,提高其综合竞争力,从而带动整个地区经济的发展。

Urban dominant industry is an important underpinning of regional economic development, and is a navigation mark of regional industry modernization. Based on Chongqing＇ s unique resource en- dowment, the existing industry distribution, world economy situation and the important historical task the central government entrusts to Chongqing, this paper determines four modes for Chongqing＇ s dominant industry distribution, including center and polarizing mode, technological replacement mode, production and marketing coupling mode and research and development integration mode. These modes can put enterprises into a perfect network through their dependence relationship one another,involving competition and cooperation,thus to improve regional integrative competitiveness and further drive regional economic development.
