P · B · Shelley was one of the famous romantic poets of England in the 19th century. He was born in a noble family, but deeply hated the brutal domination and corruption of the ruling class. He took poetry as a weapon to lash out at social ailments and to call on people to resist oppression and to fight for democracy, freedom and emancipation. His optimistic character charm is fully shown in his poems.
